Default Dot Room - size and type of paint?

I would like to create a dot room for my daughter. The room is 10 x 12. Is this going to work as I don't want to create a collapsible area as I have read. I am wondering -- if I choose the phosphorescent/black light avenue - will the black light "reach" the stickers?

I will purchase the tag sale stickers and paint them but with what type of paint - the phosphorescent or glow in the dark paint? The latter paint takes regular lighting and the phosphorescent requires a black light - is that correct? How much paint of either will I need?

Thank you very much for your help.

The phosphorescent paint is glow in the dark paint
You are thinking of the fluorescent powder that will only be visible with a blacklight.

The best option for you would be the v10 water based glow paint.

The gitd paint will charge with normal lighting, but is most efficiently and quickly charged with a black light. And the fluorescent needs a blacklight to show it's colors.

The stickers are really an unnecessary step, unless you are only going to be at that house for a short while and are looking for a super easy removal process. But really I have found that I can pick off excess dots rather easily from ceilings if I felt there were too many.

But making some of the fluorescent paint will make for a bonus hidden set of dots that will only bee seen with a blacklight. It's an interesting effect havin the phosphorescent and fluorescent dots mingling together.

4oz of the waterbased paint should be more than you would need, leaving you some excess to Play around with.

Read the sticky threads in the stars folder and general folder for great advice,
Specifically westends toolbox and the stars thread

Good luck and post pics when finished!
