Smile Marketing suggestions

Hi all,

I am new to the forum and find it really cool.

Having painted my first few ceilings in my home I am now preparing to promote my business. I am considering using white, letter size flyers, which will have my sales pitch and contact details on one side, and a few stars and a small gas cloud on the reverse. They will work out at $4 dollars for 500 sheets, plus a few grammes of glow powder and latex based medium. Also there will be the cost of one black ink cartridge about $8 dollars.

I intend placing these on my associates desks, and handing them out in local pubs and clubs.

Have any members used this method, and did they get any enquiries?

Hi,

Yes this is very good idea but be careful where you leave your leaflets. Many local shops or Night Clubs will tell you, yes you can leave them here but the truth is that when you come back in two days all is gone but not by customers but somebody just bin it!! Sorry but this is reality and i mean it cost you money!!
What is Best working for me is my Car Wrap!! Try to invest into this. My Van is the most noticeable Van in the Town!
Where i found leaflets good is to place them right to the door!!
There is always an hour spare to go around houses and put some into the post boxes or even when you see mothers chatting on the street just tell them what great product you have got!!
Good luck

Forgot to tell you another trick!
Give a €20 euro to local postman and he will do it for you! If you don't trust them and you wish to do it yourself ask him or her where is freshly build houses where people just mooving in!! You wouldn't belive how many people is decorating!!
Another very important thing you need to consider is when you placeing an add to the local or any Newspaper how to get the EYES on your add!!

NOBODY CARES about your company name unless it's well known company name with many years in the back( Coca cola)
We're all very New to the market.

My firs line in the Newspapers is: ARE YOU DECORATING??? than the rest is up to you...
It works for me!!
